My friend Lanny has been doing a lot of road trips, as he has several weeks off between jobs. He's only been in the NorthEast for a year, and will be moving down to Phoenix, Arizona next. He'd never been to Maine, so he wanted to take a jaunt up there before he left. He asked me if I'd to go with him and since I'm between jobs myself, I definitely wanted to go along.

We went up to Ogunquit, which is a summer town, so it was pretty quiet up there now. It was nice that it wasn't crowded, plus we got a great discount on the hotel room. We drove up along the coast that afternoon and then went to Freeport, so Lanny could see the L. L. Bean factory store. It was a nice laid-back trip. The weather could've been a little better, but it wasn't that bad either.
