This was a teaser sign, advertising a new coaster which was currently under construction and which would be open next year. It was built on the site of the old Hercules wooden coaster, which explains the name, since it was hercules who slayed the mighty Hydra in mythology. The logo design is really cool, with all those draconic heads.
