Worcester Ecotarium - 9/1/02 / blue-heron-03-closeup

They had a blue heron which they kept in the pond on the premises during the summer. Jeff saw him first and he was trying to fish in the water, but then when he heard us all coming he got really still. He stayed like that for as long as we were there, but that made it easier to get shots of him. He was a bit out of range for the zoom on my camera, but I still think the picture came out pretty good.
