Weekend Visitors - 9/22/01 / Apple-Picking-Apple-on-Pedestal-1

I'd only had my camera for a couple of weeks, so I was really having fun playing with it, taking all kinds of shots. As we were going to the entrance of the office of the orchard to get some bags for the apples and a cart, I saw this apple someone had left behind, probably because it was bruised. The cement sonotube segment it was on made it look like a pedestal and I smiled at how it looked a little like a still-life shot. I grabbed a picture of it and kind of liked how it came out.
